Question What should I do?

My contract with Verizon is up and I want out. Their phone selection is a joke, not to mention anemic when it comes to memory and features, that are either left off or locked down. I am really looking at the Touch Pro or Diamond and possibly moving to Sprint or AT&T - their coverage in my area is comparable as is their monthly cost, and have a few questions:

Should I really just hobble along month-to-month on my 700w and wait for the Touch Pro 2 to come out? Honestly, with all the delays in releasing new devices who really knows when that'll be?

Since I love the one-handed operation of the Treo, is the on-screen keyboard of the Diamond decent? Or should just get the slider (Touch Pro)? I have used a Tilt before from a friend for a few weeks, and found was bearable, and I just had to get used to it. So a slider isn't all that rough and I do like having a physical keyboard.

I am not considering the Treo 800w (EOL soon), nor the Treo Pro as I want a screen bigger then 320x320, and am willing to sacrifice the front-facing keyboard design to get that.

Thanks, and if this is posted in the wrong forum area, feel free to move.
