Activ sync has been like that since i got my first touch pro, when ever you plug in your phone to activ sync then screen stays on, if you turn it off its like putting the phone on sleep mode until something bothers it like turning the screen back on. Whenever you plug in your activ sync, just dont turn of your screen, it will dim by itself.
