I'm on 3.8 and I have this problem with the power button, when I'm PLUGGED IN with the USB and press power (to turn screen off) it makes the sync sound and turns itself back on) this is the first time this type of issue occured, i didnt try 3.7 so cant talk about that one. The only way to resolve is to unplug usb cable.
