For those of you that have Vista and have problems running software or applications. If you can afford it or know how to get it, run VMware (not free trial available)/ Virtual PC (free) on your desktop or laptop.
This way you can run XP as the guest or the other way around.
I am running XP guest on a Vista host and I have to say I am getting the best of both worlds.
You can actually copy and paste files between host and guest or drag and drop.
You can set the internet to be actually natted or bridged between guest and host. (nat is using the same IP as the host while bridged is separate IP)
With the configurations that computers are being shipped with, you will have enough memory or hard drive space for your configuration.
Plus this will help when you finally decide to migrate completely to the next OS.
Just my $0.02
