Re: With all the great rom cooks out there, how come no one bothers to put games in??

1) I, and others, are picky about games and we're not going to like at least one of them. Some people don't want games at all. You're never going to please everyone even if you include them.

2) Waste of space. Either it takes longer to download or upload the ROM/kitchen, or it wastes space on the device.

3) OEM'ing anything into \Windows\ can decrease performance. FormerPalmOS, a much wiser individual than myself, once explained that increasing the file count in the \Windows\ directory decreases performance. Something about it generating some sort of 'catalog list' that has to be read each time you access a system file. I probably just botched his explanation up really bad, but the point remains that extra files should be avoided.

4) Wastes Chef time. They have better things to do than grab game OEMs and make sure they work.

Really, just start collecting CABs on your SD card and add them in with UC or Sashami as you get them, then every ROM you flash will essentially come with games
1. Some like em, some don't. I do...

2. Space your not using anyways, so why not put it in there?

3. This is true, but adding an additional 1-30 won't effect performance any more or any less. Now a rom with vs. a rom without tf3d, there is a rom speed difference. And usually the only lag you will expierence is when opening up total commander and point it to the \windows directory. In a well built rom anyhow...

4. They usually share all the same oems they pass around amongst themselves anyways. I don't mind mine being pas_sed around the same, that's why they're posted. And I take great pride in my oems, when they earn that green text color, I put my super noob stamp on it and that means they work. Unless your doing something to them or have some weird kitchen thing going on.
