Well I kept going through the same steps over and over again without success, then I tried something new...

Over at the xda website, someone mentioned that the battery needed to be fully charged, so I took the battery out of the phone and charged it (probably this is NOT what made the difference)


I then went to the device manager menu and uninstalled the PPC, then reinstalled it

[incidentally, there WAS a yellow arrow here. I had forgotten that the latest few times, I was consistently getting a error on the install after found new hardware came up when I plugged in my device. THis time, the hardware was installed successfully.]

used uni_exit bootloader without incident and my device was restored.


HALLELUJAH!!!

I have a phone again....time to flash the ROM...

Saridnour is working on an update for his as we speak, so I'm going to try the 1.04 kitchen and see what happens......
