SmartPhoneTracker *is* nice, but it would only be good if you were to cook in a default configuration... because it needs to be configured before it will do ANYTHING. Since you're obviously not about to cook in a configuration file with a fixed e-mail address or phone number, the only option is to have it reply to other phone sending an SMS GPS request.
With SmartPhoneTracker + no cooked in config, you are S.O.L. if a thief hard-resets your phone.

i hate to say it but its true...since i pushed for smart...this is one benfit nue has...if you were to cook in a default you would have to make sure that you either set it as not as a background process so people could configure it.
