I prefer nueGPSSecurity because, if it's cooked in, it works *immediately* after a hard reset using the default PIN (0000).
SmartPhoneTracker *is* nice, but it would only be good if you were to cook in a default configuration... because it needs to be configured before it will do ANYTHING. Since you're obviously not about to cook in a configuration file with a fixed e-mail address or phone number, the only option is to have it reply to other phone sending an SMS GPS request.
With SmartPhoneTracker + no cooked in config, you are S.O.L. if a thief hard-resets your phone.
