I called Sprint & had them flag my account for a PRL update. Only took me 3 CSRs and up to Advanced Tech support to find someone who actually had a clue what I was talking about, including CSR #2 who told me that a PRL update would have no effect on my data service

, and #3 telling me that #2 must be clueless since its almost required for EVDO service that the PRL be current, which before the update was 2+ years old
