It is a desktop app... I don't fool w/complex registry editing via WM, though I do use Resco for some things. I also use WinMerge-- desktop too-- for comparing folder snaps from Resco Bacup. SKTracker will tell you whats changed, yes, but these programs actually create the components I use with Sashimi; ie, diff .reg and folder hierarchy with differences. I then just dump these results into the Sashimi folders as described in the post back a ways.

This essentially allows me to abstract my application and settings space from the WM OS space, and so I can recreate my custom environment on any "WM ROM," as its independent of OS (as long as the registry keys are supported, and they usually are.)

IMHO, latest Resco Backup is MUCH better than SKTracker for analyzing file and registry changes, etc. When Resco finally wakes up and incorporates these features and a dump function in the desktop tool, it'll be all that's needed for this abstraction method.
