I actually haven't been using Viigo all that much. I installed the newest version but I didn't really improve anything in my eyes and I hadn't used it for about a month before the update. When I was using it though I never noticed any serious lag between it and my feeds in Google Reader. the main reason I quite using it was because it was and still is a memory hog and is still pretty slow.
