that is a subject of some debate...

Sprint says in the TOS (check yours to be certain) that unlimited data usage is not for use with tethering unless you have a PAM (phone as modem) plan attached. However, Internet Conection Sharing (ICS) is a part of windows mobile that can be manipulated to allow this to occur without paying for the extra plan. Can you do it? Yes. The instructions (it is a simple Reg edit or a cab you can instal) are on this forum. Be carefull though, because you can be technically in breach of your contract. Usually Sprint won't care about tethering without a plan unless you are abusing it. And, usually if they decide to care they will just let you know that you have to start paying for the plan.

EDIT: Please note, I said "usually" and "technically" a lot in the paragraph. I do not speak for Sprint on this subject, just for the experiences of myself and other users on this forum.
