Yes, I have done 8228, a few times. Option 2 to update the towers and Option 3 to actually activate it. I also did ##000000 when I first received the phone. No obvious questions, you were helping me out, I appreciate it. But yes, did that, thanks for asking.
I would take it to Sprint, but I'm scared they will say because my account and the phone are both Alltel, they will turn me away.
I've noticed new things today. I receive and send text messages perfectly when I'm in the middle of a call. I received a few incoming calls today, but they were RIGHT after I had hung up with those people, or again, in another call.
Right now I'm cross checking (between my old and new 6700) the ##778 settings. Any suggestions, questions, and comments would be awesome, Thanks for helping so far! And since I'm more and more convinced that it is software/network, and NOT hardware, I think someone can help if we/I can't fiqure this out! Thanks!
