For example, I thought I fried my ExtROM partition yesterday. I had an error flashing it when installing my own mod of the C&S ROM, but I was in a hurry so I just reflashed and ran out the door. The flash seemed to go okay, but when I got where I was going I noticed that I had no ExtROM card and the unlocker didn't do anything. I figured I bjorked it.
But when I got home I ran the RUU installer again, flashed both ExtROM and system, and when I booted up, my ExtROM was there and working normally. Unless you actually fry the board, these things are darn near indestructible. Part of why I still <3 my Apache.
