I work for Devotec- The Solar Charger comes with a mini- usb, so should be fine for an HTC TP, or any other HTC device. We have not tested it with the TP directly, but we have not found a phone that it doesnt work with yet.
Also, to clear up: The solar panel is meant to trickle charge the internal 1800mAh battery. So one charges their phone from the battery, not the solar panel directly. The idea being to charge the internal battery by solar/usb/AC first, and then use the charger as needed.
