Re: tethering warning
OK, so after talking with a Telus rep for about 20 minutes, this is what I learned:
1 - Tethering was included with the unlimited data plan, but not supposed to be mentioned.
2 - Telus decided to discontinue the 'tethering is included' due to abuse.
3 - I had on my account a retro-active (to start of current contract) 1 year of tethering free. And that message was essentially to say say that my 1 year free was up.
4 - Because the dealer did say that tethering was part of my plan, I have been given 75min of LD/month for free (for the remainder of my contract), that I used to pay $10/month for.
5 - I was wrong about tethering being excluded from unlimited data, but eventually I was right.
6 - I like the apple cinnamon pop-tarts
