Services are not available for use in connection with server devices or host computer applications, other systems that drive continuous heavy traffic or data sessions, or as substitutes for private lines or frame relay connections. Except with phone-as-modem plans, you may not use a phone (including a Bluetooth phone) on a plan with unlimited Vision/Power Vision as a modem in connection with a computer, PDA, or similar device. We reserve the right to deny or terminate service without notice for any misuse.
As long as your plan is a "Phone-as-modem plan" This is perfectly legal! My phone is on a "Phone-as-modem plan" I get to work i sit on the train i open my laptop and connect my diamond and i load my RR maps from the phone for whatever line im running for the night and i do this every night www.rrmaps.com. I have yet to run into any problems or warnings on me and with 3 years of this now i havent had a word said to me from any sprint anything so explain why i read through this thread and find nothing about this? Also just to throw this out there my dad uses his mogul as a modem for god knows what and sometimes the stuff he downloads when it is his modem scares me.
