I currently use Egress and think the simplicity of the interface is great, there are a few quirks which the developer would probably fix if I e-mailed him, but is all in all a great program.
What do you mean about the jog wheel to scroll? In the current version I can use the jog wheel to scroll up/down the various feeds and the items in the feeds and read the stories...
