I have been manually copying my modified version of thread_sms.htm over from the Internal Storage every time I flashed (I didn't know about SASHIMI until recently)... It will be nice having it in the ROM by default.

Yeah that's about what we did, this is how I see it. I just hated not being able to see all of my text when I type and scrolling to look for misspelling is a waste of time. I found that 4 lines were nice, but for a TP in landscape was wayyyyy to much. 3 lines will allow you to see all 160 characters in portrait, which is what the max phone can send anyways, without taking more room then is needed. Yeah you lose 1 line to view messages that are sent, but I rather have the 3 lines for my reply, I see it as a win, win situation!
