You would have to find another sound and rename it to replace the offending one:
Sound A = no likey
Sound B = yes likey
Rename Sound B to Sound A
Or, rename "MenuPop" (or whatever the sound name is) in the multi-string registry value to "Empty" (no quotes).
If you open the Curr0.txt file, it lists all of the sound file names. Find them in your Windows directory and play them to find the one you want to change.
