Don't toss hope to the wind. The #1 requirement for WM 6.5 is that the device have a Windows hardkey start button. The 800w has that and so does the Treo Pro. So there is a chance, although slimmer for the 800w than Pro, that there may be an upgrade to WM 6.5. The big question is, if there was an upgrade, how well would it run on devices made for WM 6.1? And the 800w was originally made for WM 6.0.
Look at it this way, you guys have a better shot than we who have a Touch Pro that has no Windows hard key
