as for the partial writes, personally I have no clue what the special ROM is your referring to did you try and find a base radio ROM as suggested and attempt to use that rather than that special one?
try this one 3.42.50

then try unlocking and flashing again

Thanks for the link, I'll be downloading that, if it helps. But the device does show the 3.42.50 radio when it boots so I presume removing it using the special 4350 file must have force reloaded it from within the carrier VOGUIMG.nbh; but you can be sure I will give it a try
So I've loaded the coke 0.40 again, so as to reload the phone yet once again and start reloading the OEM VOGUIMG.nbh, then stopped before it let the phone reboot. It said 0.36 on the bootloader screen. I then loaded the Bell VOGUIMG.nbh on the SD card, it ran partially and came with an error (update failed), started again, this time it went through, the loader is back to the OEM 2.00. something and 3.42.50 radio, but still no service.
The fact the first update through with an error at such a low level, does make me believe there is a hardware problem with this phione... Don't you think something would have improved after loading the OEM ROM so many times?
I
could try yet again running the OEM carrier EXE, if that could help, but every time I've tried in then past two weeks, I got an RUU 328 (Invalid command) error during the process. The weird thing is, when I load the 2.31 Coke loader, I can easily use the utility to load a cooked rom, but it won't work with the OEM!
If someone can explain why the RUU will work with the custom ROM and not with the OEM ROM, go ahead! Could it be because the OEM EXE has special apps and settings? The OEM carrier exe simply won't work!
All this makes me believe there is nothing much I can do at this time, that it's something that I cannot fix...

if you are still having issues I would suspect what you stated about the flash memory issue and take it into your store for a replacement

That's what I'm afraid about... And I don't relish being without a phone for one month!!!
Unfortunately I cannot spend much more time experimenting, at least not for a couple of days, I'm being clamored on to finish the work I promised... But you can be sure that I'll try to get some time off to try new stuff anyway
At this point the only remaining thing, besides trying to load the radio and run the carrier EXE, would be to manually reprogram stuff in the EPST, but I reloaded the settings saved in QPST from last month, when the phone was working right, and that didn't help either although it ws obvious some settings were different than a month ago, so reprograming may simply not work...
In any case, the phone stubbornly refuses to turn itself on or stays stuck in "No Service" mode when I force it on, with that weird antenna icon it has for a fraction of a second when it first starts activating itself after after a soft reset...
Many thanks again for your generous help, as you can see, I'm starting to mumble and go mad
