I have had an interest in disabling the sound while in a call. I searched the forums at PPCGeeks and also XDA but noticed that no one had posted a method to disable the sound. After multiple registry edits, ROM upgrades, unlock/locking the phone, I was able to locate a hidden feature called "MUTE" that appeared to work while in a call.

I was dissapointed to find that the "MUTE" function was reset the moment a new call came in. I have tried adding a DWORD value to HKEY/LOCAL SETTINGS/MICROSOFT/CONTROL/PHONE/SOUND/MUTEON with a value of 1 but to no avail. Any suggestions.
