I've downloaded a trial of
Softick Card Export for Windows Mobile (AKA Card Export II). The Treo 800w is specifically named on the HCL. That's always good.
This program enables your Treo to function as a card reader so that you can access your micro sd card as a removable disk in Windows. Windows XP in my case.
There are a couple of limitations that I noticed right away with this solution.
1) The Card Export function has to be started manually by the user.
2) USB charging is disabled while Card Export is enabled.
3) Enabling Card Export disables ActiveSync.
4) While Card Export is enabled, the storage card is not accessible in WM6.
5) (cosmetic) The ui does not conform to the 800's square display
I am still searching for other solutions and would appreciate any help.
