Don't know if you followed my
post on the iris browser and wanting to change a icon for a shortcut but there was nothing on the web that I could find but I finally figured it out. see below
- Download a free program called IcoFX here (this is for windows)
- Once in the program go to file open and grab the image you want to make into your new icon
- Do a file save as and save it as a windows icon (.ico)
- Extract the exe from your ppc and save it on your computer
- Go to Tools Resource Editor in IcoFx
- Click open and navigate to the exe
- select the main logo
- click the change icon (icon at top of this window)
- Navigate to where you saved the ico
- click save
- I got a few errors but it changed the icon once it was done, I just copied it back to my ppc and now its changed!
