That is exactly how I felt, lol..I started coming to this site when I got my Touch and read through all the upgrade threads like a crazy person so badly wanting to flash. Then I got my Diamond and was really scared to touch it for fear of messing something up. But the info here is so awesome and it was so much easier than I ever imagined.
