1. hard reset makes the device like it was when u first got it with no contacts or anything on it....kind of like a restore using ur factory disk for ur pc. it will not erase anythingon the memory card but always keep a back up

2. to remove opera u can remove the folder from the programs folder on ur minisd, then remove the icon from the windows/start menu/programs or u could use a memory cleaner like memmaid and see if it removes them.
