Not sure what's so funny; guess I just have a different sense of humor. While it is true that Microsoft releases a new AKU almost weekly, once you have the platform directory set up (with the device files and registry settings) it is fairly easy to copy that directory to a new AKU and run a batch file to do a 20 minute build. As far as stability goes, I'm sure it would be much better. I imagine it would also make it easier to control which dll's get loaded into slots 1, 60 and 61 (although I do admit that I am not familiar with the current kitchen tools, so I am just guessing here). I originally asked the question because it seems that in a community as large as this one is, there would actually be a few people who do this for a living who could provide some input.
