The stylus sticks to any metal surface I put it on. I actually LOL'd at kyrumo's post because it was the first time I ever tried. Hahaha.

Perhaps there's a piece of metal inside the stylus slot that allows the magnet to stick, and that got loose. It would make no sense for there to be a magnet inside the stylus slot because metal fragments getting stuck inside would block the stylus forever!
