For the record I was looking into his suggestion, and learning about CFC and compressed files and planning on sending him a pm later, but now this just sounds like I'm trying not to look like an a**hole after the fact.
Kevan, the tf3d images used in your rom aren't compressed are they?

Should I have just not said anything about the post about XWeather? My comment was NOT directed toward amw1972. I think it's a great idea to include a weather program in the rom, I was just providing an alternative. It's up to Kevan to decide
Should I not have have said that XWeather sucked? My bad? I wasn't flaming on that post, I provide a description to an alternative that I felt was better, but I included I link to the post for the download. This saves users from trying to find the programs themselves, and possibly finding an outdated version. I also included the link to the find themes for WeatherPanel for further customization. Didn't realize that was flaming, I thought I was being more than helpful.
I don't think people realize that there is still a lot of customization that goes on after the flash (although not much is needed after this one). Roms are not made as the end all be all. Something like BBEXTREME is just a collection of themes for tf3d. It would provide more bloat than what its worth. However, if that’s what the end user wants, of course use it. Maybe I’m wrong, but I didn’t think that this rom was supposed to provide complete and final personalization for the user.

Have I ever told you what you should/should not do?
I only picked up this rom 6 days ago (only had the phone for 8, and I feel that I've already contributed a lot to this rom. Kev knows, I sent him a couple PMs. A lot of what I've suggested has already been incorporated into v1.4 and on.
I guess if I was really being a bigger person, I wouldn't try to explain myself. I'd just forget about it, and move on, and get back to constructive criticism for this rom, which is what is thread is about. It's just that nobody wants to come across as a bad guy.
So on a construtive note: Kevan, why not include WeatherPanel?
