I have an app. ,GPSToggle, that simply turns the GPS on and off. Whenever I turn the GPS on it tries to access data. I am not trying to access Verizon for the GPS just simply turn on the GPS chip.

I also have GPSToday, another nice application that I can no longer use. I reallly don't need to access the internet so I guess I'll just have to do without. I do wish I could get it working though.
