Do you have the HTC Home Customizer (HHC) installed? It sounds like there is a custom database tied to your HTC Home weather application and this program is one that does this. If so, you can go into HHC and under the weather tab change it to the Default database...if not you may be able to just restore the one file that includes the original database.
