Theres a ton of info over on xda-developers as well. It would be a lot easier if htc provided a real API for this stuff.

Edit: for example, the file named 5fbd18e6_manila is the Home tab.

If you remove these lines

That *might* get rid of the alarm line

I think getting rid of the carrier might be less easy.
