Re: +Feb 5+ *SSK 1.5 Beta 2!* +VZW and SPRINT+ - See OP!! {CE OS 21109} Kitchen and R
As a stability reference for those interested, I have not soft- or hard-reset the 20764/20764 combination now since I flashed it Wednesday night. That's two days of hard use and one night of random drunk idiots checking it out. Still solid as a rock - no memory leaks, no lock-ups, no missed or dropped calls, push e-mails coming in fine, Active Sync working fine, Bluetooth working fine, etc. I will report when I do have to soft-reset the thing.
Scott - I think it was definitely the right call to go back to the 1.2 OEM pack. The way you split that out was spot-on. If you know of a way to generate a directory tree that I can upload, I'd be happy to generate the listing for my modified kitchen. Next step if you want to speed things up is to prune files out of the itchen. For example, in HTC Keyboard, you don't need all the layout files and bitmaps for the other languages. That's about 30 files that can be pulled out of Windows. Of course if you don't install the HTC keyboard anyway, that's about 100 files pulled out of Windows...
