okay i have been searching for a few hours and have seen several guides on how to install real vga and the htc home plugin on my treo. but which guide is the best ? is it possible anybody could post what cabs i need and basic instructions for a dummy like me ? i just don't want to jack up my phone at all. the reason im asking is i see soo many different downloads and outdated links i don't know where to start.

also if i decided to go with spb mobile shell will i also need real vga for it to work ?

ive also read that real vga can cause certain apps not to work on your phone ? is this true ?
