Also, is your entire screen evenly lit? mine has a small light spot on the bottom part of the screen a little to the right. you can see it when the screen is all black, otherwise, its hard to tell it was there. Seems like your issues are similar to mine, I'm wondering if 1/15 & 1/16 were produced in the same plant

Brand new, and i've just soft-reset to test your issue out and it appears as though i can see the light behind the lcd pretty clearly on the right side, but ONLY if i angle it that way. otherwise looking at it straight on i can't see any defects!
