I can vouch for Verizon having several refurb 6800s, I just got my 5th one. They refuse to upgrade me to another phone since I am not in contract. The phones ranged in refurb date anywhere from May of 2008 to 1/5/09. The one refurb'd on 1/5/09 is in the best condition of them all so far... The others had the white spot, random reboots, etc.
