The stock roms had teams of developers working on them, alpha's , beta's and then the production release and still had problems. Mike works on them the best he can but even he has limits to what he can do.

Different people have had different problems with each release. Is there anything wrong with people staying with v3.7 or v3.9 or v4.2? If it works for them, I say let them stay....I understand everyone wants the latest and greatest but sheesh!! with new releases come bugs. Thats part of the reason the official releases are few and far between.

There is a difference between reporting what you think is a bug and wanting to know when Mike will fix it. Most people are very good about this... but some OMG!!
There is also something else to consider here. What do you think the odds are that HTC or the carriers pick up releases like Mike's, Juicy's, et al and use those as the base for their next "official" release. I hadn't considered this until I was researching the 1.11 radio release and came across this statement on another board:

"Well looky here! Evidently Sprint is getting ready to release a significant ROM update for the HTC Diamond. Official "leaking" seems to be standard practice these days as you folks serve as great beta testers " from http://www.wmexperts.com/upcoming-sp...ond-rom-leaked

Anyway, I just figure there is a LOT going here that few of us are aware of, so I too agree that Mike's work is mightily appreciated. But let's stop all the "demanding" and be thankful for what we have (I figure HTC and the carriers sure are )
