I don't have any background with that. All of my tabs are simply plain black. Fresh installed, I hard-reset before, flash with roms, installed 1.8.1 then 1.8.5c fix (also tried the cfc version). I've tried to force a background in today settings, it only appear in the start menu. thanks

Edit: ok, I'm dumb, I forgot the "wallpaper" setting in the customize tabs...
