So far it does seem even more responsive especially mixed with the new OEM pack. The new OEM pack has been modularized like GC suggested. I used some files from him and conflipper. Seems a notable bit faster and even more so with this XIP 3E Fixed.zip XIP.
I will test and report back over the next couple days. Been taking it easy lately.

That age thing will catch up with you.
BTW - I was just going to PM you and ask if you had placed wince.nls into your SYS - since it was removed from the XIP - that would have prevented the system from booting. The OP mentions this though - but who reads OPs anymore...
Also, after building with your new OEM pack with more modules, you should dump the rom to get a look at the virtual memory map. Good way to see if there are any memory conflict issues before they arise.
