Right now, you can't. All of the "Appearance" attributes are sets of png files. So the only way to have an alternate clock font color would be to find a set or modify the ones with the package. There is one black set that I know of
here. It's a hollow font, so it should look sweet against your white background.
Extract the files in the zip to <HHC path>\FILES\clock\Custom. Then run my program and select Appearance->Clock->Custom. Exit the program and the new clock should be installed. (I will be including the Puma fonts from the link in the next version, hopefully tonight!)
