Have you tried the same experiment on another PC/laptop to see if it was your computer or the Omnia?
Just curious though....angel12 and Adrynalyne....I tried CorePlayer ant it couldn't play in landscape...was there a setting that had to be changed, or did I just get a bad file in there somehow?

Ok, tell me what you think. As I have chronicled transferring files to the Omnia from my computer is "snail going up hill facing an avalanche" slow. This morning as a test I transferred a coulpe of videos I downloaded directly from the internet to the Omnia to my PC. Lo and behold not only did the movies transfer in a decent timeframe, when I tried to play them on my PC they were flawless.
So I am a bit baffled why it works in one direction well and not the other. I am thinking at this stage it is my computer...but I am still scratching my heasd as to why.
