I can understand the theory of fully discharging + recharging a battery as a means of calibrating the guage, as it makes sense that a guage can keep better track of something if it knows the standard 'capabilities' of the item it is tracking, but I don't think that applies here because EVERYONE sees this, it isn't a select few. I am sure a lot of us have run the batteries down, and haven't seen any change in the meter. That being said, it does sound like an interesting experiment (I
have been known to be wrong on occasion) if anyone has time. If you do, please report, a lot of interested parties here!!
hop2000...I haven't seen any meter give more accurate readings. I have tried SPB, RESCO, vista bar, and S2U2 and they all vige very vague 'estimates'. I don't let it bother me because I have no problems with my battery life, I
would like a better idea of where I am with it, but it hasn't let me down yet!!!
