That would not make sense. You buy the phone and it breaks b4 the first 30 days and you have insurance on it. Well I guess I am stuck with said phone for 15 more days as that's when I hit a month and can claim it.
Now if you had the phone for a while and it still works and you want to put insurance on it that was not on it b4 its always better to have the insurance on it for a while b4 going for a replacement through Assurian/Sprint.
Always better safe then sorry when you know you are doing something that is not totally moral.
