It wouldnt be a bad move to click on "File" "Delete Mobile Device" before you try this...
- Connect your phone to the PC
- Open ActiveSync
- Let it try to sync
- Click on "Tools" at the top
- Click on "Options"
- Uncheck everything and press "OK"
- Try syncing now.. DOES IT WORK? IT SHOULD
- Now go thru Tools>Options and put a check next to ONLY "Contacts"
- Click "OK"
- Now try to sync.. it worked for me
REPEAT PROCESS FOR EACH ITEM. I found the problem to occur primarily when the device has two sync profiles setup. Either on two computers or 2 on one computer.
