I'm new to this site and to PDA's in general. I had a Mogul, but once I cracked the screen and only got to successfully work an "Bank Account Application", I sent it off and Phoneclaim sent me a HTC Touch Pro.

I love this phone and I'm sure there is a lot to do. I've been searching the threads and clicked on links I needed... only to be denied permission or something like that.

If you don't mind addressing a few questions/concerns I have, I'd greatly appreciate it:

-What is a "Kitchen"?
-Do I HAVE to have this huge clock on my Today Screen? (Right now, it blocks my fiance' and my face, but shows our bodies, lol)
-Can I make a custom theme for my TP? (Or can you send me a NY Giants Theme, lol)
-Lastly, what are more basic applications that don't require me to do a whole lot of stuff to install?

This is where I lack: I do NOT know this tech-talk. So if its possible, can you respond in lamens terms? That would help too.

I know how important "Thanx" are on this site and I wont hesitate to show my thanx as well as Copy & Paste your info to friends of mine who are just as confused, lol.

A kitchen is what you use to create a custom rom.
It is called a kitchen because the people making the rom are said to be cooking the rom or cooking apps into it.
If you really do not like the big clock, there are a couple things you can do. you can remove touch flo 3d, or you can get a rom that has a transparent clock so you can see the time and your woman.
Anyone can install a custom theme, making one is a little more difficult. I suggest trying the ones available before making your own.
A must to have is a backup copy of sprint tv, USE PIM BACKUP!!! it took me loosing 130 detailed contacts to realize the importance of this software!!
Other than that you have a lot of reading to do, good luck

BTW if you post in the general thread for the Touch Pro then you will get answers quicker.
