1. PowerSMS can send scheduled texts, as well as group texts.

2. Have you thought about using 3rd party apps? Nimbuzz and Pidgin are a couple of programs I know of that support multipl eIM platforms.

You'll probably have to choose the larger file size to do the test (I choose 1mb)
