As far as your problem, I'm sorry I'm on USCC and followed that thread to unlock my GPS. I have only flashed my ROM 2 or 3 times and I have spent so much time customizing it that I cringe at the thought of doing it again. I believe I have a different bootloader than you however. Maybe just try flashing to different ROMs and see what results you get? Trial and error. Sorry I can't be more definitive. Please keep us updated on your progress.
Well... I don't think I'm one of those classic tech people. I was trying to help the guy by giving him every possible link to all of the problems he was having. I don't think I was being an a-hole. I guess if I would have gone to his house and done it for him that would have worked better. The fact of the matter is that I've never bricked my phone at all, but I have read things here and seen posts about people who have.

BTW, lilmomo: If you haven't already, load the latest stock Sprint ROM from my first post, then perform a hard-reset after the load. Then remove the battery for a minute and then power-on the phone. That may eliminate the sporadic power-downs.
