When calling on the phone to attempt a swap before, they just gave me the finger. I paid the $55 and I have my Touch Pro now, but I'm worried I'll get charged full retail eventually.

as long as the phone is not physically damaged or water damaged in in anyway...and its just a program issue, electrical issue, or normal wear and tear...you can file an advanced exchange on your phone. depending on whether its a pda phone or fnormal flip phone the price will vary. doing an advanced exchange with insurance is free. so you should have nothing to worry about . im sure youwont be charged anything but the price of the AE...
Hope That Helps
