Sadly this is not a workaround... as I said, this is not in my local contacts, this is in the Global Address List (aka Company Directory), and that is not changable. HTC has already stated that the phone number parser in the Sprint rom is busted, so they are working on it, was just hoping someone else might have figured out a fix faster, or pulled the parser from the AT&T ROM.
